I use Olfa knives instead of hot temperature cutting devices to carve Styrofoam because I am sensitive to the chemicals and gases that emanate from heated foam.  I use Hot Wire Factory brand exterior foam coat as a layer of protection after I am finished carving.  I carve and paint in oil to express iconicism.
